I am very fortunate to be in a position to build an extension on our family home. When my Mum broke her hip last year, she had to get used to adapting certain parts of her life. I have to admit that I am naturally a very lazy person. I cut corners as much as I can, I am, as my father would say “work shy”. My son is leaving home and moving in with one of his best friends, and I don’t know how, but I have been left to do most of the organising!
