We have always loved going on caravan holidays in our family, especially during the summer holidays. This year we have decided to go somewhere in our home county of Yorkshire, rather than down south like we normally do. It’s approaching that time of year again; time for the dreaded MOT. Even though my car runs really smoothly, for some reason I always worry that the garages are going to tell me that my car is almost beyond repair and it will cost thousands of pounds to fix. Luckily, I’m less anxious this year because I have found a really reliable garage that I am going to use. Why do I feel like I should know about cars, just because I am a bloke? I know absolutely nothing about cars. I still have to use one though, and I used to hate it every time my car was due its MOT. I used to feel like such an idiot taking my car into a garage, knowing whatever they said about it would mean absolutely nothing to me. They could pretty much tell me it needed a heart transplant and I would just nod my head.
