When my Mum broke her hip last year, she had to get used to adapting certain parts of her life. She has always been very independent, and I know that it was very difficult for her to finally admit that she needed some help at home. As I’ve got older I have found it much harder to get around like I used to. I love going out every day and I don’t want to stop just because I’m heading towards my eighties.
