My daughter has always wanted to be a tattooist, well ever since she was 11 she has. At first I thought that it was just a passing phase, but now she is 18 and she is completely set on becoming a tattooist. It’s difficult because I’m her mother and of course I don’t want her to get drawn all over, especially went it’s for life, but I’ve been so impressed with her determination that I have slightly conceded. I thought that if she was planning on doing it, we should at least work in a place that I saw as safe, hygienic and a good fit for her. I have always wanted a tattoo, and I finally plucked up the courage to go and get one on my 21st birthday. I just wanted a simple daisy on my wrist, but it took me a long time to stop being terrified and to find a tattoo studio who I thought would be the right one for me.
