Indian restaurants in Harpenden

Posted on December 22nd, 2010 by sam

I think curry is just about the most sociable food you can get, even more than tapas. There’s nothing that brings people together in quite the same way as a curry. It can be really boring to always be going to the same curry places, though, so my friends and I like to mix it up a little and go to different restaurants.

One of the best curry houses we’ve found is www.indianrestaurantharpenden.co.uk. It’s just lovely. The food is amazing, the service is top notch and the atmosphere means you’re guaranteed to have a good night, whoever you’re with. Read the rest of this entry »

Local pubs in Sawbridgeworth

Posted on December 22nd, 2010 by sam

There’s something really special about local pubs, I always think. When they’re done right, they’re cosy and welcoming, and you can always find somebody to have a chat with.

Sadly, in recent years I haven’t lived anywhere which has had a really good local, so I was hugely impressed when I moved to Sawbridgeworth and found www.localpubssawbridgeworth.co.uk. Read the rest of this entry »

Indian restaurants in Biggleswade

Posted on December 14th, 2010 by sam

I’ll be honest, Biggleswade isn’t known for the quality of its curry. It has some very nice little places, but a great curry house is something I’ve been searching for, for quite a long time. That’s why I was so excited when I came across www.indianrestaurantsbiggleswade.co.uk.

I was surprised I’d not heard of it when a friend suggested we went to try it out, but I was more than happy to give it a go. So we got our gladrags on and headed out one Saturday night. Read the rest of this entry »

Three disused garages in Bishops Stortford are to be transformed into drama studios catering for young actors with disabilities and learning difficulties, among other promising performers.

Youngsters from the East Herts Youth Theatre will be able to use the dedicated space, which adjoins the Rhodes Arts Complex, for rehearsal and productions. Read the rest of this entry »

Country pubs in Hoddesdon

Posted on November 19th, 2010 by sam

It’s funny how excited you can get about a weekend away, but when you’ve had so much on, it can be an absolute lifesaver.

My sister and I had both been completely snowed under at work for the past couple of weeks, and the only thing which was keeping me going was the weekend break we’d booked in Hertfordshire. We’d booked into a gorgeous B and B and we’d planned loads to do while we were down there. The only thing we needed now was somewhere to eat, which we found at www.countrypubshoddesdon.co.uk. Italian Restaurants in Biggleswade

Posted on November 4th, 2010 by Chris

If you asked me what my favourite hobby was right here, right now, I would tell you without a doubt that it’s going out for tea!

I’m not sure whether it’s the culture bird in me all the fact that I just love to eat (we’ll go with the first!) but I love going to different italian restaurants in Biggleswade and experiencing all the different flavours and tastes.

Last week, my other half and I went to a superb Italian restaurant which was out of this world. Out of all the places I have been to, I do love a good hearty Italian to tantalise those taste buds! The pizza’s were divine and flame grilled for extra taste!

As it’s my mum’s birthday next weekend, I found a website online at www.italianrestaurantsbiggleswade.co.uk for a restaurant which I thought would be lovely for a change.  I never thought I would say this, but I do sometimes get sick of going to the same places so love to experiment with different sorts!

The website www.italianrestaurantsbiggleswade.co.uk says the restaurant isn’t far from my house so it will be fine for getting there and back too if we fancy a few cheeky wines!

I just need to learn how to burn the calories off that I’m eating and then the jobs a good one! In the mean time, I’ll enjoy them whilst they go down!

Holiday Cottages in Snowdonia

Posted on October 1st, 2010 by Alex

We had been to Snowdonia for a few years’ running and it was a very special place for us.

However, we had never taken our son before. As he was only a few months’ old, we wouldn’t be doing any serious walking, but we could definitely potter around with him in a backpack.

The cottage we had booked before was booked up this summer, so we had to turn to the trusty internet for holiday cottages in Snowdonia. There were a tremendous number of websites, but one website had a really nice selection of holiday cottages in the Snowdonia area. Read the rest of this entry »

UK Coach Tours in Birmingham

Posted on September 27th, 2010 by john

My Grandma goes on those UK coach tours every year without fail! She has been absolutely everywhere; Devon, Cumbria, Edinburgh, London….you name it, she’s been there!

Now, I know a lot of coach tours are associated with older people but my husband and I are thinking of going on one for a change this year! We have been to various placed outside of the UK but thought this year we would holiday within the UK as we are getting a conservatory built onto our house later on in the year so we don’t want to spend as much money holidaying.

My husband was looking online and found a website called www.ukcoachtoursbirmingham.co.uk which had lots of different locations available and at very affordable prices. If anything, the coach tours are better for us within the UK so we don’t have to worry about driving etc and getting lost! Read the rest of this entry »

Holiday Accommodation in Skegness

Posted on September 27th, 2010 by john

I know it sounds a little cheesy but I do love a good old trip to Skegness! Skeggy or Skeg-Vegas as it sometimes known, definitely ticks all the boxes for a fun filled trip.

So this year, besides our usual trip abroad to the Canaries, we are looking at having a short break away to Skegness. Probably just for a couple of nights but somewhere where we can just relax and chill.

I have been looking online and found a website called www.holidayaccommodationskegness.co.uk which really showed off the sorts of accommodation options available for the resort. Read the rest of this entry »
