Our new house is slowly becoming the house that we have always dreamed of, but it has taken a lot of renovation and a lot of time. When we bought it, it was just a shell, but me and my wife completely fell in love with it. The location and the look of the building was just so fantastic that we had to have it. As time went on, everything that could go wrong with the build went wrong. The electricals needed to be completely replaced, we had to replace some of the structure and we had to replace all of the windows. We tried to continue to stay optimistic, but it became difficult when our house was (literally) falling down around us. We kept thinking about how it would be when it was all finished, and decided to think about the little things that would make our house become a home.
