Moving Into My Nursing Home
Friday, February 18th, 2011Choosing a nursing home for yourself is a very strange experience, let me tell you. I have been living in the house that I shared with my husband and my three children alone for the past ten years and I no longer enjoyed it. It is a sad fact of life that as you get older, your number of friends decreases. My best friend who I had known since we were little girls died a couple of months ago, and I decided that I didn’t want to stay in my big house all on my own. I started looking for a place where I could stay that would still offer me my independence, but also give me the scoial life that I crave.
