I much prefer taking my holidays in the Spring, when there aren’t as many people out and about and there’s a bit more peace and quiet. My old school friend and I decided to take a break in the South West, and head to http://www.cottageholidayswoodbridge.co.uk/. They are such a wonderful base to have of you want to explore the area. We really loved staying there and took fantastic day trips in the area.
Almost as soon as he could walk my son wanted to drive. He was obsessed with sitting behind the wheel of the car, and he loved when I let him put the handbrake on when we pulled up onto the drive. Obviously I’d check it afterwards, but it made him feel really grown up, bless him!
When he was eight, I decided he was old enough to join me in my collection of vintage toy cars. I’d been collecting them from model shops since I was a nipper, and my dad had collected them before me. I took my son to www.modelshopseastleigh.co.uk so he could choose his first car. (more…)
