My Dad is still very independent, even though he is in his eighties now. Just last month he went and bought my son a brand new micro scooter from www.microscootersbristol.co.uk, and my son was completely over the moon! He absolutely loves it and you can barely get him inside the house these days, all that he wants to do is play outside on his new scooter.

Although you would never know how old my Dad really is, the strain does sometimes show, and he needs extra help. He has been living on his own for years now, but I think that he might need some extra help, just with the day to day running of his house.
