House Party

Monday, August 15th, 2011

As we have gotten all, my friends still like having big parties, but the have become a lot more refined than the house parties of our youth. We would rather stay in a nice hotel than trash someone’s house! We decided to have a reunion in Bristol as some of our friends have moved to different parts of the country and the world over the last couple of years. I found a great place for us to stay, www.partyhouserentalsbristol.co.uk. We could have one of our raucous nights without having to clean up after ourselves!

Wedding Plans

Monday, May 23rd, 2011

There are a lot of things to organise when you are the maid of honour at your sister’s wedding. I was really pleased when she asked me, but I knew that it would be a lot of work. The first thing that I had to organise was her hen party. My sister is quite low key, but I knew that she would like a big send off, so I decided to organise a night out in Brighton. It’s such a fun night out, and I knew that my sister would love it.

She spent some time travelling a few years ago, so I knew that we should go a Japanese restaurants, as it is her favourite kind of food. I looked online and found www.japaneserestaurantsbrighton.co.uk. I asked my friend who lives in Brighton, and she said that it was a great choice.

Birthday Cakes in Bournemouth

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011

When my son was turning 21, we had a big party planned to celebrate. He didn’t have a party for his 18th, so we thought that we should celebrate this milestone in style. We booked out a club in town, and invited all of his friends from school and university. I really wanted it to be special, so I decided that as a surprise I would get a cake made. He has always been interseted in rally driving, so I wanted to get the cake made in the shape of one of his favourite cars. I had heard so much about www.birthdaycakesbournemouth.co.uk and the brilliant cakes that they made, so i decided to go to them for the cake.

Oriental catering equipment in Bristol

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

When I went travelling a couple of years ago I met the woman of my dreams in Thailand. It was love at first sight. She came travelling with me for the rest of the time I was out there, and then came home with me when I returned.

We got married after being together for just six months and decided to make our lives in Bristol. We were both trained chefs and we decided to set up a Thai restaurant in Bristol. We had the knowledge and the premises, and we went to www.orientalcateringequipmentbristol.co.uk to find the stuff we needed for the kitchen. (more…)
