I have been saving up for a long time so that I could invest in my new house. My kitchen is just gorgeous and I can’t stop raving about it! We were going to move house last year, but the sale fell through because we were in a property chain and another family pulled out. We were quite upset, but then my husband suggested that instead of buying a new house, we could invest in our current house. It’s in a great location and the kids love it, but I think, for me, it was the decor that was really getting me down. My husband proposed that we spend around what we were going to spend on the new house on decorating, new bathrooms and a new kitchen. Now, my husband is not usually this generous so I jumped at the chance to re-do our shabby house.
