Asbestos is such a scary word isn’t it, but I have to be honest, I am not completely sure what it does, I just know that it is dangerous. During the survey for our new office building, we were told that there was asbestos in the roof. I was very worried as we were planning on moving into the building the following month, but our surveyor told us not to worry because she regularly works with a company who specialise in asbestos removal, www.asbestossurveysportsmouth.co.uk. She called them and I was so relieved when she said that they would be able to remove all of the asbestos in next to no time.

I didn’t realise asbestos still existed out there until a friend of mine set up his own company. Since then, I have learnt a lot about it. He was unable to get his premises insured until he had an asbestos survey done on the building.
