I can’t remember when I started smoking, but I know that I was very young, around 12 years old I think. My son has always been very hard working, but I never thought that he would have the drive and ambition to start and run his own business. He has always been good with computers, so he started his own technology company a year ago. At the start, he worked so hard that I barely got to see him, but after a few months, we decided that we should set a date every week when the whole family could meet up and catch up. I have to say that until last month, I was never really that keen on Indian food. My girlfriend has always been a fan, but I have never really enjoyed really spicy food. I love planning birthday parties, especially for my kids. There are so many things that kids’ parties can have, that us adults would look crazy if we asked for! When my daughter was turning 7, I decided that we would have to get her the king of birthday party activities… a bouncy castle! When I went for my interview at my new job, I didn’t realise how far away the office was from the local amenities. It’s in an industrial estate so you have to go on the motorway and into the nearest town before you can find anywhere that sells a sandwich. I am far too disorganised to make a packed lunch, and even when I have set aside time the night before to make it, I always end up forgetting it anyway! Me and my manager were chatting about how annoying it was having to trek into town everyday for lunch, so he asked me to see if I could find out whether there were any other options for us.
