Starting up my own business has been completely exhausting; there’s just so much to do! I have never been someone with a flair for design, so I decided to get some help from some professionals to help me out. My husband and I were distraught when our daughter Isobel died of a rare form of childhood cancer, but we decided we wanted to do something to help other people in the same situation. We set up a charity to help young cancer sufferers and their families in the Reading area, in the hope we could raise awareness if nothing else.

Our first event to get our name out there was at a local pub. We wanted to get a logo and a brand going to people knew who we were, so we asked www.designforprintreading.co.uk to come up with something for us. We wanted posters, banners, the works, just to make sure people knew who we were. (more…)
