Repairs After Break In

Friday, April 27th, 2012

I was so shocked when I came home from work last week and found that my house had been broken into. Whoever did it broke in through the back window in broad daylight and managed to get away with my laptop, DVD player and some jewellery. I was very shaken up but luckily I was fully insured so I was able to claim back for everything that was taken. My laptop was on its last legs anyway so I suppose that I need to think positively about the fact that I now have a brand new state of the art laptop.

After the police came to collect evidence, I called www.doubleglazingrepairportsmouth.co.uk to come and repair the broken back window. They fixed it straight away and I felt much safer knowing that my house was secure.

I decided to use the money that I received for the jewellery that was stolen for a new boiler. My boiler has been having problems for months now but I didn't have enough money to buy a new one. I got a great deal from www.worcesterboschboilersegham.co.uk on a top of teh range boiler and it works perfectly. It was awful getting broken into but at least I can find a silver lining with it all.

Looking For Plumbing Help

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

I always try and fix everything myself in my house, but there are some times when I have to admit defeat and call up the professionals. When my boiler broke last month, I decided to see if I could fix it myself. I went to www.plumbersmerchantreigate.co.uk to find the parts that I needed, and I was very impressed with how professional they were. They really helped me find the parts that I needed and they have an incredible range of bathroom, heeating and plumbing parts. Once I got my parts from them, I headed back home and to try and fix the boiler. After staring at it for half an hour, I realised that I had absolutely no clue what I was doing and admitted defeat.

Admitting Defeat

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

I have to say that I am very unlucky when it comes to household appliances, but before you feel sorry for me I should be honest… I mainly break them myself. I don’t really know why, but I seem to think that I can fix everything myself. My brother is a trained gas engineer, and even though I know how long it took him to learn his trade, I still think that I know as much about boilers as he does. When my boiler broke a couple of weeks ago, I thought that I would be able to fix it myself, but as I stared at it blankly for an hour with a spanner in my hand, I had to admit defeat and call in the professionals. I called in http://www.boilerbreakdownservicesessex.co.uk/ for their help. I watched intently as the repairs were completed, and I think that I finally realise that I know nothing about boilers, and I have to leave it to the experts in future!

Everything Works!

Monday, January 31st, 2011

My boiler has been an absolute nightmare for as long as I can remember. It just seems to have a mind of its own! It sounds ridiculous, but it never really worked so I think that I got used to having cold showers and thought that it was completely normal. I only really saw how silly I was being when my girlfriend started staying over at my house. The first morning when she went for a shower and I think that the people living in the next town over heard her scream! She couldn’t believe that I’d been living with a broken boiler for so long. She told me about www.boilerrepairbroxbourne.co.uk and insisted that I go to them for help.

Boiler repairs in Bracknell

Monday, December 6th, 2010

Picture the scene; the snow is falling heavily outside, so you drive home, looking forward to your nice warm house and a night sat huddled near the blazing hot radiator with a hot chocoate in hand. Then you arrive at home, open the door, and discover that the boiler has packed up.

The happened to me last week, and I feel no shame in saying that I felt like crying. I had to have the next day off work so that I could try and sort it all out. I must have rung around ten local boiler firms until I fell across one which would come out to me at short notice. That was www.boilerrepairsbracknell.co.uk. (more…)
