Rare Books in London

Posted on November 2nd, 2010 by Chris

With so many books in London you would think that finding the one you want would be a piece of cake! How wrong could I be?

For Christmas, I asked my Grandad what he wanted this year as I am sick of buying him gifts which he just then gives to the local church in six months time! I would rather spend the money on something that he wants and something which is worthwhile.

So, in asking him what he wanted, he gave me a certain book title and author. Now, I really know nothing about books other than they are sold at Waterstones! But, to be honest, even that let me down on this occasion.

I did an online search for rare books in London and found a website at www.rarebooksinlondon.co.uk. The shop is a little out of town from where I am but it’s worth the trip if I can find the bloomin’ thing! Read the rest of this entry »

Off Licence in Wolverhampton

Posted on October 5th, 2010 by Chris

Ever since signing the contract, I’ve been thinking about all the things that I am going to do with my new house. I’ve been trawling the streets of Wolverhampton for wallpapers, flooring, furniture and utensils! The list never ends to be honest and my new house belongings seem to be growing by the minute!

My long term boyfriend and I have been looking at buying our first house together for ages but being first time buyers, we’ve been saving for a deposit for the past two years. Finally having all the deposit together, we are both very excited at the prospect of buying our first new house!

The house that we have chosen is gorgeous (but I would say that!) It’s a lovely semi detached house in a small town in Wolverhampton.

I couldn’t help but think the other day how much I hoped the new house had a small off licence near it! I know at my parents’ house now, we have a small off licence which sells everything from magazines to those products you forget time after time at the supermarket!

I looked online and found a website called www.offlicencewolverhampton.co.uk which said that there was a corner shop just a small walk from the place. The first time I saw the house, I didn’t even take any notice of what was around the property and just took note of the house itself! Good job for websites like www.offlicencewolverhampton.co.uk! Oriental Carpets in West London

Posted on September 27th, 2010 by john

I love the look of those oriental, traditional carpets. I am a bit obsessed with carpets full stop I think! My mum said that when I was a child I loved playing on the carpet and used to cry if I was put onto the furniture! Maybe that was a sign of things to come!

I found a website the other day that provides oriental carpets at an affordable price www.orientalcarpetswestlondon.co.uk. I have never seen anything like these before! The carpets were completely genuine, hard wearing carpets which were also very contemporary too. Read the rest of this entry »

Designer Jewellery in Brighton

Posted on September 27th, 2010 by john

I’ve always been a massive fan of designer jewellery despite the rather big ticket price! I just find the whole bespoke jewellery concept really interesting as I love to see what sorts of jewellery are created to suit different people’s tastes and styles.

Whilst on a weekend you will often catch me trawling the streets of Brighton, looking for different jewellery shops which might catch my eye, I must admit, I am becoming a bit of a sucker for browsing online too! The other day I found a really good website called www.designerjewellerybrighton.co.uk which had the most gorgeous jewellery. Read the rest of this entry »

Bespoke Jewellery in Halifax

Posted on August 16th, 2010 by

My Mum’s 50th birthday is fast approaching and I am desperately trying to find a company that sells bespoke jewellery in Halifax.

I want to get my Mum something which she can remember but also something which isn’t run of the mill, standard jewellery. I really like the idea of customer jewellery as I can have a piece made which will be personal and exactly to my Mums taste. Read the rest of this entry »

Self Storage in Havant

Posted on August 6th, 2010 by

As a student just about to leave home for the first time, I desperately need some new Self Storage in Havant to try and add a little structure to my room.

I feel as if I’m going on a new adventure. I’m really looking forward to being independent and making new friends. Things can get a little stale at home sometimes so it’s good to know that I will never be bored! Read the rest of this entry »

After a recent promotion at work, I’m looking at Prestige Cars in Rotherham for an upgrade to my current car. Having worked really hard to get to where I am at the moment, I am fancying a little luxury to reward my hard work!

For some people owning Prestige Cars in Rotherham is a walk in the park but for me it’s something I’ve never had before so the novelty is huge! Read the rest of this entry »

Built-in appliances in Eastbourne

Posted on July 17th, 2010 by Alex

Our old kitchen was a wreck. I’d always hated it. Finally my husband (who’s a builder) agreed to take some time off and refit it. My nagging had paid off.

We had already decided on the units and surfaces. However, we needed a really good supplier of built-in appliances in Eastbourne where we live. I wanted the kitchen to look really slick. Read the rest of this entry »

I have finally decided to take the plunge after ten years with my girlfriend. I have not had any pressure from her I can assure you. I just feel the time is now right.

But before I pop the question, I need to find a ring that will do justice on such a momentous occasion. Read the rest of this entry »
