With so many books in London you would think that finding the one you want would be a piece of cake! How wrong could I be?

For Christmas, I asked my Grandad what he wanted this year as I am sick of buying him gifts which he just then gives to the local church in six months time! I would rather spend the money on something that he wants and something which is worthwhile.

So, in asking him what he wanted, he gave me a certain book title and author. Now, I really know nothing about books other than they are sold at Waterstones! But, to be honest, even that let me down on this occasion.

I did an online search for rare books in London and found a website at www.rarebooksinlondon.co.uk. The shop is a little out of town from where I am but it’s worth the trip if I can find the bloomin’ thing! (more…)
