Every year my family all go on holiday to Wales. I am from a very big family so we hire a big coach from www.coachhireneath.co.uk to drive us around. The holiday was as fun filled as ever but I definitely noticed that I wasn’t able to keep up with the youngsters like I used to. My wife and I have never really been ones to get traditional gifts like jewellery for our anniversaries, we have always used the money that we would have spent on things that we will both benefit from for our house. This year is our twentieth anniversary so we decided to invest in something that we could benefit from for years to come. I have such a hectic and busy lifestyle that I try and make sure that a make the most of all of my holiday time. I try and do something that will be fun but also engaging. Now that we are all in our mid to late twenties, all of my friends from university have scattered around the country and it’s hard to find the time for us all to meet up. We decided to make sure that we find the time to get together at least twice a year and so far we have all been true to our word and met up several times.

Last weekend we planned on meeting up in Birmingham, but on the morning that I supposed to leave my car decided it didn’t want to start and I had to take it to www.carservicingwarrington.co.uk to get looked at. Moving to Northern Ireland with my husband and two kids a couple of years ago was quite difficult because I am very close to my family and was used to being down the road from them all. We had to move for my husband’s work and even though I found it hard to start with, we have settled in and now we are very happy here. I do still miss my family but I look forward to seeing them and we always have a great time when we meet up.

My sister arranged a family reunion of sorts for our Grandma’s 90th and I was really excited. I had been planning on getting some professional pictures taken of my children for a while but I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to get some snaps that I could give to all the family. When my 40th birthday was approaching I was so excited to plan something big. We have been planning on going on a big family reunion style trip to France for years but had never got around to it, but I decided that my 40th would be the occasion that got everyone together. My Uncle Kevin was so popular in our local community and so many people were upset when he passed away. He had so many friends and of course all of us, his family members, were so sad to lose him. He was always the life of the party but he lived a full and happy life so we all sought comfort from that fact. We all wanted to arrange an amazing send off for him so we decided to go all out and make his funeral a grand affair and celebration of his life. Getting married was the most amazing day of my life and the whole day was completely perfect. We had everything that I could have ever wanted including a gorgeous horse drawn carriage from www.horsedrawncarriagesouthport.co.uk. I thought that I was just going to the ceremony in a car, but my husband surprised my one the day with the amazing traditional carriage with two gorgeous white horses. I felt like a celebrity when I arrived at the church and it was the perfect start to the perfect day.

When my friend said she was starting up her own business last year, I thought she was mad. It seemed like such a stressful thing to embark on just two years after having her first child. But the business she was starting up was something she enjoyed, so that’s why it has worked. She set up a child-friendly café with a play area in it, which fits in really well with family life and allows her to do the things she enjoys. She gets to meet other parents, do baking for the café and of course take her son to work with her. I have been helping out as well. I love the fact that it is just down the road from our homes as well, which means no commuting!

My brother has been renovating his house in Surrey for nearly a year now, and he’s always telling me to come down and visit. I never seem to find the time, but I decided that I would definitely go down to see him last month.
