I have such a hectic and busy lifestyle that I try and make sure that a make the most of all of my holiday time. I try and do something that will be fun but also engaging. I hate just spending week doing nothing so I try and plan an activity. My husband is very romantic and is always surprising me with thoughtful presents. Sometimes I think that he isn’t listening to me, but he always proves me wrong. After sufferinmg from a really bad knee injury last year, I have been doing all that I can to aid the healing process. The first thing that I decided to do was join www.fitnessclubssutton.co.uk so that I could get a personal trainer who could talk me through the best exercises that could aid my recovery. I have been really impressed by all of the help that I have received from them and I really believe that the help that my personal trainer has given me has made a definite difference.

My son has always been very active and loves sport, but recently he has become very passionate about tennis. During the summer holidays, he realised that he had a natural talent for the sport, so I started looking into places where he could get professional coaching and hone his talent. My siblings and I decided to arrange a big surprise party for our Mum’s 60th, and thought that we would hire a marquee in our back garden for the occasion. This last year has absolutely sped by. My son was born 9 months ago, and I haven’t had a moment to rest since he was born, at least that’s what it’s felt like! I moved over to Northern Ireland when I got married, and I haven’t been back since. When my friend invited me back to Belfast for her hen do, I really wanted to go, but I was anxious to leave my little boy as I hadn’t been apart from him since he was born. My husband said that he would be fine, and I should go, but he works full time so I didn’t know who could look after Daniel in the daytime. I was telling one of my friends, and she said that she has used www.daynurserybirmingham.co.uk before and they were fantastic. My now husband and I had been together for 25 years before we decided to tie the knot. We never really thought about getting married, then one day he proposed and I immediately said yes! We didn’t want a very big wedding, just all of our nearest and dearest together enjoying a fun day. There are a lot of things that you need to keep on top of when you’re a working mum! My twins are leaving for university in September, my youngest is desperate to start horse riding lessons and we’re in the middle of completely renovating our new house. We realise that now that two of our children were going to be at university, we could downsize our house. We found the perfect new home, but there was a lot to do to make it ready for us to move in. After all of the electric and plumbing work was finished, I needed to find the furnishings. We were planning on using most of the furniture from our old house, but I really wanted to invest in some lovely new carpets. My daughter has been dancing since she was three years old, and she still loves it as much as she did when she started. She is 15 now, and she has taken part in dance competitions up and down the UK and abroad. I love going with her to the competitions, they can be very nerve wracking for her, but I try to help her keep everything in perspective, I’m not a pushy stage mum! She was taking part in a competition in Scotland with her dance group, and it was our turn to transport everything up for the competition. When you have your own business, your own salary is directly related to how hard you work. When it was approaching my daughter’s 13th birthday, I worked especially hard to make sure to get the present that she really wanted; horse riding lessons.
