Medical Negligence Solicitors in Bromley
Tuesday, November 16th, 2010I went into hospital recently for an operation to correct a slipped disk in my back.
I was in there for a few days and then came home to rest before going back to work. The doctor told me it would take around six weeks before I could go back to work, so I expected to be feeling more like myself well before that.
But when it came to the time I was due to head back to work my back still wasn’t right. I could barely walk, and when I did I was in excruciating pain. It was terrible.
Work were brilliant with me about it, and didn’t bat an eyelid when I told them I wouldn’t be able to come back for a while, but it was hardly ideal.
I went back to the doctor who operated on me and he said there was no reason that I wouldn’t be able to walk now, so I went to get a second opinion. This doctor told me that something must have gone wrong in the operation which made the healing process slow up in this way.
I decided it would be worth going to see a solicitor, so I contacted www.medicalnegligencesolicitorsbromley.co.uk to see if they could help.
