Going through a divorce is a really difficult time for anyone. Even though my wife and I parted amicably, there are still so many things that need to be legally resolved before the divorce could be finalised. It was so important to me that I found a lawyer who was sympathetic and understood how upsetting the whole process was for me and my ex-wife.
It has been a very strange couple of months for me really.
My soon to be ex-husband and I have been together since we were just sixteen years old. Whilst things were really good for the first eight years, the last couple of years we have just been like brother and sister. So many people have been telling me that everyone has hard times in a relationship and that it’s the getting through it that makes the connection work. However, I beg to differ and just think it would be wrong to stay with someone that seems to resemble the same love as what I feel for my brother!
