Moving house was just as stressful as everyone told me it would be, but I think that I am finally settling into my new home. I had been living in the same house for twenty years and moved in when I was in my early twenties and didn't have very much stuff. I have been planning on clearing out my garden for months now, but I just haven’t been able to find the time. I t was really frustrating me and everytime I looked out at my overgrown garden, I got a bit more annoyed. All of my weekends are taken up with looking after my kids, and I have a full time job, so I decided that I would take a couple of days off from work so that I could finally get the job done.

Clearing out my house before we had it renovated was such a mammoth task. You never realise how much stuff you’ve accumulated in your house, until you need to clear it out. We needed to get rid of everything we could before the builders and decorators started. At first we were just putting everything in bin bags, but after a couple of hours, we realised that we needed an alternative to all of the bags blocking our drive. I am moving house finally after months of waiting to find something else which was suitable. I have been renting a flat in Birmingham for the past year or so I would say now but choosing that flat was my regret! I have had nothing but problems with it from start to finish.

Firstly I arrived at the flat to find that the bath leaked onto the floor so I had to get the landlord to sort that out rather quickly. Secondary to that, mould started to grow on the walls of the kitchen which was quite a concern seen as that’s where I make my meals! Not the most hygienic of kitchens you’re probably thinking!

Anyway that’s by the by as I am currently looking at removals & storage in Birmingham as that’s my priority at the moment.
