Living next to a river means that I have a beautiful view out of my back window but also means that I am the first house to flood when we have heavy rainfall. Usually the flooding only causes a small; problem but last month the flooding in my area was so sever that it cause problems with the plumbing system for my house and caused extensive damage to the flooring. My boyfriend has just moved in with me and we have had a couple of problems getting used to living together. I love my house and a lot of the things that niggle him about the property have always seemed to me as part of the charm of it. After my children left home and moved away to university or new cities, I had a lot of time on my hands. You would have thought that teenagers you wouldn’t be as busy, but I still was! Once my youngest flew the nest and went to university in London, the house felt very empty and my days were too. It was a big decision to make, but last month I decided that I would sell my company.
