Staying Friends

Tuesday, March 13th, 2012

My ex husband and I have worked really hard to maintain a civil relationship following our divorce, but it has been very trying at times. We have two young girls so we tried to do everything we could cause as little disruption as possible for them. We had a lot of help arranging the custody for our daughters with www.familylawsolicitorscroydon.co.uk. They were supportive and sympathetic to our needs as a family and it would definitely recommend them to anyone needing family lawyers.

Moving To Australia

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Getting a visa and finding a job in Australia was so exciting, but I was a little bit sad to say goodbye to the house that I build in England. I have always wanted a wood cabin, so I designed the house that I wanted and found the right company to build it. When it came to selling it I wanted to make sure that the cabin was in the best condition possible, so I had teh wood treated by www.timbertreatmentspenzance.co.uk. They are a really professional specialist company and I was very impressed by their service.

Mother In Law’s Visit

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

I love my dog but he can be a bit of a terror! He loves bounding through the house and caused quite a lot of damage with his antics. When my mother in law came to visit I decided to try and cover up all of the destruction with a complete clean of the house, I even called in www.floorpolishingpreston.co.uk to help. They completely cleaned and polished my house and left it looking fantastic. I was so impressed and I will definitely be calling them again.

Funeral and puppy aid grieving process

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

When my friend lost her husband, she was, unsurprisingly, unable to function for a while. The prospect of trying to organise his funeral filled her with panic and dread. She felt completely unable to deal with all the practicalities. I went with her to http://www.funeraldirectorsdebden.co.uk and between us, we helped her through the process. The funeral directors were happy to do everything, and all my friend needed to do was talk to them about what she wanted at the funeral.

The staff were obviously highly experienced and dealt with my friend in an extremely calm and sensitive way. They took as much pain out of the process as possible and made everything really personal. In the end, the funeral was so well organised, I think it was good for my friend. I think it really helped with the grieving process.

Business Start Up

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

I have been a stay at home Mum for the past 15 years, but now that my youngest is going to secondary school, I feel like now is the time to try and restart my career. I used to work as a PA, and I had the idea of starting a virtual PA service for local companies. I have done some recent work in this field, so I know that there is a market there, I just needed to find a company who could help me with the marketing and branding for my new venture. I asked around, and heard that an excellent company to go with was www.corporatebrandingbirmingham.co.uk. I got in touch with them and I was immediately impressed by their creativity and professionalism. They have been helping me create the right brand identity, and I am really grateful for all of their help.

Horse Show

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Horse riding has always been my passion, and I have been very fortunate to own several horses throughput my life. I train them and sell them on in my free time, but I still love competing in an event every so often. I keep my horse at www.diyliverydanethorpe.co.uk, who provide the stables and help that my horse and I need. They really care about the horses that they look after, which is great as I have a full time job and cannot visit my horse every day.

Electrical Fault

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011

When my floor manager rang me and said that there was a big problem at our shop and I had to get there straight away, my first thought was, who’s going to look after my dog? It may sound ridiculous, but I only get two days off a week, and I spend most of that time with my dog. I immediately needed to find someone who could help, so I called on the ever reliable http://www.petsittingbourne.co.uk/ for their help. My dog loves spending time with them, so he wasn;t that bothered when I left!

My week

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

Last week was a very busy week for me as our new puppy arrived. We thought we were prepared however we were not! The first thing she did was rip appart the expensive new bed we had bought her. We had no time to go to the pet store in the week so we went online at www.petshopsnorwich.co.uk, there was lots to choose from on their website and we bought the dog a big cage and a new bed all for a great price.

The next big thing that happened in the week was a bit of a muddle with my accounts, I am starting a new business and I needed a lot of help with my tax. I contacted www.taxreturnschelmsford.co.uk and they sent a guy round. He was a fantastic help and now I know exactly what I am doing!

Animal Lover

Monday, June 27th, 2011

I have always been an animal lover, and have 5 dogs and 2 horses. Horse riding has always been a passion of mine, and I was lucky enough to have horses when I was growing up. I think that my friends and family thought that I would grow out of my love of horses, but I never have, and I ride them every day after work. I have to be honest though, they are very high maintenance animals, and there are a lot of things that you need to take care of for them. I have a few reliable companies that I keep coming back to for their services, including www.horserugcleaningnewmarket.co.uk. They are a cleaning company who offer a special horse rug cleaning services, and they always complete all of their work to the highest standard. I am always so impressed with them.

Dogs shouldn't be as high maintenance as horses, but they are the way that I look after them! I love them to look very groomed, so I take all five of them to www.doggroomingcanveyisland.co.uk once a week. They all look fantastic after they have been groomed, but it doesn't last long once they start playing together in the garden.

All of the staff at the dog grooming firm are great, and even though some dogs don't normally like baths, my dogs really enjoy going there. They are like pampered princess dogs these days, even the boys! I love taking the time to look after my animals, I love them so much!

Training And Technology

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011

Moving from Manchester to Hull isn’t that far really, but there were a lot of things that I needed to organise before I moved across the country. My wife was offered a really great job that was based in Hull, so I had to relocate my business so that we could live together. I own a small accountancy company, but to be honest I can work from anywhere. I needed to make sure that all of the data and files that I have could be transfered to my new office. I’m good with numbers, but technology is not my thing, so I called in www.manageditservicesmanchester.co.uk for their help. They were great, they told me the best way to keep everything and store it on systems that would keep the data.
