Due to pressure from my eco-warrior daughter, I have decided to make the conscious effort to be more environmentally minded. I have to admit that I have never really been concerned with the environment before but as I am getting older and I am thinking about the state that the planet will be in for my potential grandchildren, I think that it is time to reassess some things.

My car is what could only be described as an old banger and it consumes fuel like it’s going out of fashion. When I took it for its MOT at www.motgarageswigan.co.uk and I realised how expensive the car was in relation to a newer one and I thought that perhaps it was time to invest in something more ecological. My car has been taken to the crap heap and now I have a zippy little car that is unbelievably cheap to run.

Now that we are all in our mid to late twenties, all of my friends from university have scattered around the country and it’s hard to find the time for us all to meet up. We decided to make sure that we find the time to get together at least twice a year and so far we have all been true to our word and met up several times.

Last weekend we planned on meeting up in Birmingham, but on the morning that I supposed to leave my car decided it didn’t want to start and I had to take it to www.carservicingwarrington.co.uk to get looked at. They didn’t have the part that was needed to fix my car so I had to get the train down to Birmingham to meet up with my friends.

My car has always been really reliable, but recently it has been playing up and the garage that I usually go to had been doing a lot of investigations without actually finding out what was wrong. I decided to see if another garage could find out what the problem was and took my car to www.carservicingrugby.co.uk after my friend recommended them. Within half an hour they had pinpointed the problem and gave me an estimate. It was less than I was expecting but I still needed to talk to my accountants to see if I could afford the repairs.

I moved back up north after my wife and I separated, but the divorce proceedings would be taking place in Luton. It was what we both wanted so it wasn’t as upsetting as it could have been, but we were both quite overwhelmed by the legal paperwork. I was on my way to the funeral of a family friend when my car broke down. Luckily I was only a short distance away from www.carserviceswigston.co.uk so they were able to have a look at the problem for me straight away. They said that it was a very simple problem and they would be able to have it fixed within the hour. I was so pleased as I really wanted to pay my respects at the funeral. They were true to their word and I was back on the road in less than an hour.

I have never been someone who is good with money, but since I have enlisted www.taxadvicecheltenham.co.uk to help with my business and personal accounts, I have been being a lot more sensible and thoughtful about how I spend my cash. I was on top of all of my finances when I was unfortunately in a car accident. I was at a roundabout and thought that the car in front of me was going forward, but it wasn’t and unfortunately I crashed into the back of the car. I did more damage to my own car than I did to the other driver and I knew that I would have to find the money from somewhere for the repairs.
