I have always looked up to my uncle and love spending time with him. A couple of years ago he had a stroke and it had a massive effect on his life. He struggles with a lot of tasks that he used to find simple but he is very stubborn and only agreed to getting some help last month. His house that he was living in was not suitable for his requirements so we looked into finding somewhere that would be better. Due to pressure from my eco-warrior daughter, I have decided to make the conscious effort to be more environmentally minded. I have to admit that I have never really been concerned with the environment before but as I am getting older and I am thinking about the state that the planet will be in for my potential grandchildren, I think that it is time to reassess some things.

My car is what could only be described as an old banger and it consumes fuel like it’s going out of fashion. Now that we are all in our mid to late twenties, all of my friends from university have scattered around the country and it’s hard to find the time for us all to meet up. We decided to make sure that we find the time to get together at least twice a year and so far we have all been true to our word and met up several times.

My car has always been really reliable, but recently it has been playing up and the garage that I usually go to had been doing a lot of investigations without actually finding out what was wrong. I was very shaken up when I was involved in a car accident last month. Even though the company needed to move offices because there wasn’t enough room for our expanding work force in our old office, we still wanted to keep the feel of the office the same. I have always been a clumsy person, but for years I managed to involved getting in any kind of accident with my car. I have been known to get distracted when driving but last month I managed to drive my car into the middle of a traffic island when a wasp flew into my car. I have always been terrified of them and I forgot about the fact that I was controlling a vehicle and just started flapping about.
