I decided that my New Year’s resolution this year is to stop putting things off and take control of my life. I am inherently lazy and have to really push myself to get things done. For example, my car wouldn’t turn on a couple of weeks ago, and rather than take it straight to the garage to get fixed, I just decided to take taxis everywhere instead! Completely ridiculous I know. At the start of January I took my car straight to www.mottestingcentreepping.co.uk to see if they could repair the problem. I was so impressed with them and they managed to get my car back on the road within an hour. I could have saved a lot of money on taxis if I’d have just gone to them in the first place!

I have neglected my car for a while now as I have had so many other things to think about and now I feel bad about it and, what’s more, my car is starting to play up.  It’s my own fault really.  I know the MOT is coming up and it would have been more sensible to keep up to the servicing schedule.  Anyway, a friend has recommended www.mottestcentrehoddesdon.co.uk and I am so glad they did. I don’t know about you, but I feel like my MOT creeps up on me every year. My car is five years old, so there always seems to be some work that needs to be done on it. Usually, I have a mild panic attack when I realise that I’ll have to fork out for my MOT and the repairs that come with it, but this year I was much more relaxed as I knew that I had my finances in order. I really need somebody to recommend some garages in Lowestoft that deal with MOT testing and services.

I have been to so many garages in the past where I have known I am being completely ripped off in terms of the price but because so many of them have been located just next to my work or around the corner from my house, I’ve always opted for the easy option. However, this year I have told myself to shop around so to speak to try and find a better deal.

Money isn’t as flexible as it used to be in my house so I have become very budget minded and orientated as a result!

It’s that time again when my car needs yet another MOT. Now I know that it’s illegal not to have an MOT but like with anything, you always wish you didn’t have to pay it!

I have only had my car for three years now so it will be its first MOT. I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone to be honest as it only seems like two minutes ago since I bought it!

Because I’m out of touch on where to go for a car MOT, I’ve been looking online at websites like www.carmotssandy.co.uk. Some people are work always seem to get really good deals on their MOT’s and say that the work that needed doing hardly cost them anything. We’d just moved to the Lincoln area as my job had been relocated to the city.  In all the madness of the move and with my wife starting his new job and the kids starting at a new school, I had completely forgotten that my car’s MOT was about to expire.  Being new to Lincoln, we didn’t really know anyone who could recommend a good MOT centre.

So I went online and searched for MOT testing in Lincoln. There were so many companies to choose from that it was very confusing. I ended up ringing up the first two on the search results page.  One of them was particularly near to our new house, and could fit me in the following day. (more…)

I hate this time of year when my car needs an MOT and a service at the same time. I don’t know why but I really am reluctant to pay for MOT centres in Watford to take my car away and do work which is costly and unjustified!

You hear a lot of stories about MOT centres in Watford where people take their cars for an MOT and end up paying ridiculous amounts for a small, two minute service. (more…)
