I can’t believe that my little boy is going to ne 13 next week, time definitely does fly. I have planned a big surprise party for him with all of his friends and family at a town hall near where we live. I know that the last thing that most teenage boys want is to spend their birthday hanging out with their Mum, so I have a made a special area in the hall with game consoles for them all to play with during the party. I had bought some LED lights from www.cheapledlightscoventgarden.co.uk to decorate the hall and I’m sure that it is going to look great.

I have always wanted to have use a warehouse as a office space for my advertising company and I was so pleased when I found a disused warehouse that was being sold at a very low price. It needed a lot of work down to it to get it to meet health and safety standards so there were a lot of companies that we called in to help us. I have been working as an artist for many years now, but it can be hard to find work especially in difficult economic times. Last month I was assessing the best way to get some funds before Christmas when an artist friend of mine asked if I would like to collaborate with him on a big project that he had been commissioned to do. Talk about good timing! I have worked with him before so I accepted straight away. We found a studio and set about renovating it before we could start. When my wife was offered a new job in Preston, we decided to up roots and move somewhere new. My wife has been trying to find a job for a long time and was so pleased to have found the position that was perfect for her. Where we used to live I ran a food takeaway shop that specialised in Turkish food. I decided that it would be easy enough for me to start a new business in Preston, so I bought a shop and started renovating it.
