My Dad’s House

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012

Even though my family and I had all prepared ourselves for my Dad’s passing, we were all deeply upset when he died. He had been ill for a long time so it was a relief for him, but it was still very hard to deal with. He had already planned his funeral with www.funeraldirectorshitchin.co.uk and they were so helpful and supportive of us through our difficult time. They talked through every aspect of the day with us and made us aware that they were available to talk with us whenever we needed it.

Moving house

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

Last year we moved house to somewhere smaller as my son had finally moved out and gone to live in London. It was very stressful sorting everything out into boxes and getting rid of things but eventually with help from friends we got it done. We used http://www.domesticremovalsbrighton.co.uk and they were so helpful and got all our possessions removed quickly and safely which was fantastic.

Although I love my new house I also miss my son very much. That's when my husband suggested we framed the pictures from our holidays when my son was little. We contacted http://www.pictureframesbirmingham.co.uk/ and chose some beautiful frames. They look lovely on my mantle piece and I am now very happy as I can see him all the time. The frames also match really well with my new room and my son also loves them when he comes to stay.

Moving House

I am moving house finally after months of waiting to find something else which was suitable. I have been renting a flat in Birmingham for the past year or so I would say now but choosing that flat was my regret! I have had nothing but problems with it from start to finish.

Firstly I arrived at the flat to find that the bath leaked onto the floor so I had to get the landlord to sort that out rather quickly. Secondary to that, mould started to grow on the walls of the kitchen which was quite a concern seen as that’s where I make my meals! Not the most hygienic of kitchens you’re probably thinking!

Anyway that’s by the by as I am currently looking at removals & storage in Birmingham as that’s my priority at the moment. I have found a website called www.householdremovalsbirmingham.co.uk which offers a prompt and reliable removal service. I only need my belongings moving from one property to the next so it’s not as if I have miles to travel or anything. (more…)
