Environmentally Minded Changes

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

I work for a transport company and because we use so much fuel, we try and do everything that we can to reduce our carbon footprint. We have a great relationship with our fuel company www.commercialfueloilsleeds.co.uk and they also offer a very reliable and professional service. Because of the work that we do, it’s essential that we have a reliable company to work with and we are lucky to have found that company.

Family Visit

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

My brother and his wife are very differnt to my husband and I, they are a lot more serious about life and care more about the material things than people sometimes. Whenever they come to visit, I feel enormous pressure for my house to be perfect, so I spend weeks cleaning it and making sure that it is in the best shape possible. This time I went even further when I decided to get the oven cleaned as well. I looked online and found www.ovencleaningfakenham.co.uk. They were fantastic, and I cannot believ how clean my oven is.

Moving House

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

I have been planning on moving to Canterbury for a while now, but it toook me a long time to find the right property. I didn’t really know where were the best areas or the type of home that would be best for me, so I was looking around a bit aimlessly to be honest. I finally had a breakthrough when I found www.propertytoletcanterbury.co.uk. They have great properties available, and I found all of the staff to be very helpful and professional. After one two viewings wth them I found the right place for me to live.

Big Year

Friday, August 5th, 2011

This has so far been a very exciting year for me. My new business has got off the ground, and I have finally been able to start work building the house that I have been dreaming of for so long. It’s very hard over the past few years, working on my business, but this year has really proven to be the breakthrough year, and we have started making a really healthy profit. I think one of the reasons that the company has become so successful is the fantastic website that we invested in from www.designagenciesbrighton.co.uk. It really represents our company perfectly, and has meant that we get a lot more enquiries and orders.

New Offices

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

I own a web design company with one of my best friends from childhood, and over the years we have worked really hard to create a well respected and successful business. As we have become more and more successful, our business has expanded and we have needed to keep moving to bigger and bigger offices. I have always wanted to have offices that were base in an old disused mill or warehouse, and I finally found the right space for us and our requirements. It needed a lot of work, but I knew that this was just the place that I had always imagined. The first thing that we needed to do was sort all of the stone flooring out to make sure that it was safe and looked good. We called on www.stonerestorationromford.co.uk for their help. They are experts in stone restoration, and left the floors looking incredible.

My new house

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

Me and my boyfriend have just moved into our new house and are halfway through doing it up. Our first job was replacing the the fireplace as it looked old and dated. It is quite a big old room but I wanted something modern to make it look a bit more refreshed, so I chose a white marble fire place from http://www.logfireskendal.co.uk/ and now it looks fantastic, I am so happy with my new room. However, I had a house warming party to celebrate, it was a really good night (the fireplace got a lot of compliments!) but my drunken uncle spilt red wine all over my brand new cream carpet! I should have seen it coming. Anyway I managed to contact www.professionalcarpetcleanersliverpool.co.uk and they came round the next day and had the mess cleared up!

New house

Thursday, July 21st, 2011

A couple of months ago we moved into a new house. We were already strapped for cash but needed to also buy home insurance. I had looked around on a few websites but http://www.homeinsurancechelmsford.co.uk/ seemed most appealing.I contacted them and they were so kind and helpful. They found us a great deal and now we can live in our new house with no worries.

Another problem with the new house was the carpet. It was really dated and I was desperate to get rid. My friend told me about http://www.carpetsuppliersharlow.co.uk/ and she had bought a lovely carpet from there. I had a look and brought home a few samples. After taking quite a long time in deciding upon the perfect colour for our carpet as my husband was not very helpful, we eventually chose the right one. I am now happily living in my new house with my new carpet.

Keeping Our Offices Clean

Tuesday, July 5th, 2011

It really is true when people say that first impressions count. We invested a lot of money into the renovation of our new offices, because we wanted our clients to have a great office to visit for meetings, and we all wanted a comfortable and vibrant working environment. We are a design company, so it’s very important that our surroundings reflect our creativity and design expertise. We found a great space to renovate, and it took us around 6 months to get the building looking how we wanted. After all of the hard work, the office was finished, and it looked great. We wanted to keep it looking in the best condition possible, so we called on www.windowcleaningbelfast.co.uk.

Fixer Upper

Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

I absolutely love my new house, but my estate agent wasn’t lying when he said that it’s a fixer upper! I have always preferred old houses to new builds, so when I found my charming little house, I fell in love instantly. I knew that I had to have it, and because of all of the work that needed to be done, it was a bargain. Although I love all things vintage, I am quite the environmentalist as well. My new fireplace is perfect, but I only use smoke less logs that do not harm the environment. The first time I was planning on lighting a fire, I eneded up being covered in soot; the chimney hadn’t been swept for what looked like a couple of hundred years! I looked online and found www.chimneyrepairswinchester.co.uk. They use state of the art methods to clean chimneys, and they even relined my chimney for me. They were fantastic, and now I can light a fire without having my room fill with soot!

Keeping The Kids Busy!

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

It has taken years for my husband and I to renovate our home. We bought it when I was 6 months pregnant with our first child, and now five years down the line, we have three children and our house is almost ready for us to move into! We are just completing all of the finishing touches, and the part that I am the most excited about is the wood burning stove that we have got from www.woodburningstovescanterbury.co.uk. I have always wanted one, and I am so happy that I can have one in our house. They make rooms so warm and cozy, and I love how they look.
