It has been a long road, but I have finally finished renovating my house. In my new role as office manager there are a lot of things that I am responsible for. Our company have been working from the same office and factory since the seventies. It is not the most pleasant working environment, so we decided to ask our CEO if he would invest in some changes to the buildings. We were all surprised that he agreed, actually, he was emphatic that we must get it done as soon as possible. I have lived on a farm for my whole life, so there are some things that I’m always a few years behind on, like computers. I rely on my tech-savvy nephew to help me out, but sometimes he goes a bit overboard and downloads far too many programs that slow down my very old PC. Last time he came round he downloaded a lot of spy ware that I really didn’t need. The computer now struggles to turn on! I am not an outdoorsy person in any way, so I was reluctant to go and stay with my Aunt and Uncle when they invited me to go and visit them on their farm. They have always been very kind to me, so I decided that I should bite the bullet, buy some wellies and go. I was apprehensive about what there was to do on the farm, but when I arrived I saw that they was no shortage of jobs and chores.
