Wedding At Home

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of getting married in the family home that my sisters and I grew up in. It holds so many memories so when my now husband proposed last year, I immediatley knew where I wanted the wedding venue to be. My parents were thrilled, but I was worried that they would splash out on things for the house that they didn’t really need. I was right to worry, as the week after I told them I was engaged they were having a conservatory built onto the back of their very big house! It’s a lovely conservatory, but on warm days the heat is just unbearable. Because of this, they got air condtioning installed by www.airconditioninginstallationcolchester.co.uk. The air conditioning system is great, and it keeps the conservatory at a lovely temperature.

Celebrating Our Qualifications

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

When I arrived in England, I never thought that I would be as confident as I am about my grasp of the language. I lived here for five years, and although many would have said that I was fluent, my written English and reading left a lot to be desired. I decided to enrol at www.englishcoursesenfield.co.uk so that I could improve my language skills. The classes were fantastic, and not only did I learn so much, I made great friends.

When we finished our course, we decided to celebrate by all going for a meal at www.italianrestaurantsnottingham.co.uk. It was great catch up with everyone, and to celebrate our achievements. The food was delicious, and we had a fantastic time. If we compare our English now to how it was when we first started the course, the difference is incredible. I would not have been able to write this last year!

Before My Trip Away

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

I am not very technically savvy, and I often have to call up my brother fro help about how to do certain things on my computer. When there was a problem with my computer that even he didn't know how to fix, he told me to contact www.computerrepairsmaidenhead.co.uk to see if they could help. I explained to them what was wrong with my computer, and they said that the recognised the problem and they would definitely be able to fix it. They were true to their word and my computer was back up and running in next to no time.

I went to visit my sister the following week up in Northumbria, and I had a great time there. She has such a fantastic quality of life there, I find myself feeling quite jealous whenever I go to see her! She gets her milk and juice delivered by www.eggdistributorsalnwick.co.uk, and they also deliver delcious chesse and yogurts, straight to her door. I wish that they delivered as far as Kent!

Catering Company

Wednesday, August 24th, 2011

I have been running my own catering business for the past few years now, but since the recession and everything that cam with it,  have had to make changes to my business and the way that I run it, so that it can survive in this difficult market place. The first thing that I decided to was find accountants who could provide me with the guidance that I needed so that my company could stay afloat. I found the help that I needed with www.companyaccountantsburtonupontrent.co.uk. They are an excellent company who have really helped me to get my accounts in order.

My Friend\’s Wedding

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

I am not the kind of guy that gets dressed up unless it's for a special occasion, but when it's a special occasion, I like to go all out. My friend was having a country wedding, so I decided that I would dress up as a country gentlemen for the wedding; I've always wanted an excuse to wear tweed! I looked online to find a company that I could get my ideal suit from, and I was lucky when I found www.suithireleigh.co.uk. They have a fantastic range of suits available, and I found exactly what I wanted with them.

The wedding was amazing, it had an really great feel, and the food was incredible. There was a whole pork roast, and all of the equipment was from www.porkroasterbristol.co.uk. It was cooked so well, and really added to the whole atmosphere of the day. My suit got a lot of great comments too, I looked like a real country gentleman.

Out For Dinner

Saturday, August 13th, 2011

I never would have thought that my Dad would enjoy getting home care so much, especially seeing as he was so adamant that he didn’t need any help a couple of months ago! He was dead against getting any help, but I knew that it would make his life easier. I asked my friends and colleagues if they knew of any home care companies in the area, and one of them suggested www.homecareservicessouthampton.co.uk. I got in touch and told them about my dad, and they said that they would definitely be able to help him, even if he only needed home care visits a couple of times a week.

Planning My Restaurant

Saturday, August 13th, 2011

Owning a restaurant has been my dream for as long as I remember. I have grown up around the food industry, as my parents owned an Indian catering company when I was young. I love indian food, and I am always trying new restaurants to see how they make traditional classics that I have enjoyed my whole life. I was in London a few weeks ago and decided to go to www.indianrestaurantsearlscourt.co.uk for my lunch. I ordered my favourite, lamb bhuna, and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to the restaurant the next time that I am in the capital.

I want to create an Indian buffet in my local town, and I have been researching how much it would be to start the company. I have been costing all of the business elements; as it will be a buffet, I will need a lot of buffet equipment, and I knew that the best company to go to for a quote was www.buffetdisplayunitbristol.co.uk. They have an amazing range of buffet units that would be perfect for my business. I have nearly completed my business plan, and if I manage to get a loan, I know that I will be going to the buffet unit company for my equipment.

New Job And New Restaurant

Friday, August 5th, 2011

Every time I visit my sister in London, we go to the same restaurant: www.indianrestaurantsbricklane.co.uk. The food there is completely delcious, and they have such a warm and friendly atmosphere. I also get the chicken madras, and it is so fantastic. I live in a small village, and we don’t have an Indian restaurant anywhere near us, so I love indulging in the tasty food whenever I go there.

Moving To Swindon

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

Moving from St Ives to Swindon isn’t that far in the grand of scheme of things, but with all of the packing that came with it, you’d think that we were moving to Australia! My husband was offered a new job in Swindon, so we decided to take the leap and move. St Ives is lovely, but we felt like it was time for a change, and we knew that we could always come back if we wanted to. There was a lot of stuff that needed to be packed up and boxed, and it all took the best part of a week. Thank goodness that we had www.lowcostremovalsstives.co.uk there to help us with all of the stressful moving. They offered a really professional service, and I was so pleased that we had decided to go to them for help.

Celebratory Dinner

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

My daughter has always wanted to be a make up artist, and I have supported her throughout all of the courses and training that she has done. Initially, she did a lot of training to be a beautician, but as time went on, she realised that she wanted to be more specialised, and just focus on beauty and special effects make-up. A couple of months ago she completed a really prestigious course in London, and I was so proud of her. There were a lot of specialist supplies that she had to get for the course, and she relied on an excellent shop www.kryolanmakeupcoventgarden.co.uk. They had everything that she needed, and all of the staff were really helpful and well informed.
