My New Job

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

I was so pleased when I got my new job as a warehouse supervisor in Leeds as I have been trying to find a new job for a long time. Once the contracts had been signed and handed my notice in at my old job, I needed to make sure that one more thing was taken care of before I moved away… I needed to learn to drive. Now this may sound like a mammoth task to do in a small period of time, but I have been learning for a while, I just needed that final push before my test. I had heard great things about www.intensivedrivingcoursescoventry.co.uk so I booked a intensive course with them. It paid off, because I passed my test and I am now a driver!

Driving Solo

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011

Learning to drive was a big hurdle for me; I just couldn\’t seem to get my head around driving. I think it was something to do with my old instructor who was not supportive at all, and used to shout at me throughout my lessons. I decided that if I was ever going to pass my test, I needed to find a new instructor. One of my friend\’s recommended www.drivingtuitionnuneaton.co.uk, so I called them to book my first lesson. From the second that I started my first lesson, I felt all of the stress lifting off me, and I drove the best that I had ever driven in my life. Within a few months my test was booked, and I passsed!

My first big journey as a non provisional driver was down to www.caravanparkscarnforth.co.uk for a holiday with my sister. I was scared for the couple of miles, but after that, I felt fine. We had a great holiday and really enjoyed exploring the area. I\’ll be driving back down there next year I\’m sure.

iPhones and Instructors

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

I absolutely love my iPhone, so when I dropped it on the hard tiled kitchen floor in my house and the screened cracked, I was devastated! I’d only had it for two weeks and I had already broken it, I couldn’t believe it. I searched on the internet straight away for a local company who could fix my phone, and I was over the moon when I found www.iphonerepairsmanchester.co.uk. I rang them and tehy said that if I sent my phone to them straight away, they would do their best to have everything fixed in 24 hours. I sent it as soon as I could, and they were true to their word. I had it back in next to no time and it looked as good as new, thank goodness.

Learning To Drive Just In Time

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

It was lucky that I found such a great driving school to teach me to drive, www.cheapdrivinglessonshartlepool.co.uk, because I needed to drive a van full of stuff across the country a week after my driving test! I met my boyfriend just as I had started to learn to drive, and by the time I had passed my test, we were a serious couple. He had been applying for jobs throughout the country to no availa, until he found a job at the otherside of the country. Initially we thought that maybe we should try a long distance relationship, but then I decided that I would rather live with him in a different city rather than live on my own in my home town.

The job started straight away, so we needed to pack up and get over there as soion as possible. He went ahead of me to start his job, and left me with the big job of driving a van full of stuff over to our new flat. I was quite daunted as a new driver, but I felt confident that I would be ok in the van that I had hired form www.vanhirehavant.co.uk.

I was a little bit scared when i first got on the motorway, but I managed to get ther ein one piece and with all of our stuff in tact. I am so glad that I made teh decision to move with my boyfriend, I\’m really happy with him and I am very proud of myself for driving a van!

My Brother’s Wedding

Tuesday, May 10th, 2011

I was so excited when I heard that my brother was planning on getting married! He has been with his girlfriend for nearly ten years now, and they are such a great couple, I knew that the wedding would be fantastic.

I was even more excited because the wedding was scheduled for a month after my driving test, so I decided that if I passed I would set myself the challenge of driving all the way from Bournemouth up to the North East where the wedding was going to be. I had been learning to drive for 6 months with www.cheapdrivingschoolsbournemouth.co.uk, and I felt really confident that I would pass. My driving instructor has been so reassuring and supportive throughout the whole process, and I wanted to show how much I had learnt. Luckily, my confidence paid off, and I passed! I now have the long drive ahead of me, but I’m really excited.

Cheap Driving Lessons Harrogate

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011

My son is 17 next week and I wanted to buy him some driving lessons as a present.  He is so desperate to learn to drive and it will be lovely to see the look on his face when he opens the card and finds that I have bought him a few driving lessons to get him started.  I have been asking around to find a good driving instructor that doesn’t charge a fortune.  A few people have recommended www.cheapdrivinglessonsharrogate.co.uk (more…)

Driving lessons in Hertford

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

I wasn’t one of those teenagers who couldn’t wait to learn to drive. The idea of getting behind the wheel terrified me. It was only when I started a job which required me to drive that I realised I had to start. I was 22 at that time and had moved away from home, so I couldn’t ask any of my friends for advice on who they learned with.

In the end I just stuck a pin in the driving schools section of the phone book and went for whichever one I landed on. It was www.drivinglessonshertford.co.uk. (more…)
