My boyfriend seems to think that he is a very talented mechanic, although all of his past mechanical work would prove to the contrary. I came home from work one day to find him under the bonnet of his beloved car. He told me that there was something wrong with his car, and that he was trying to fix it. I have heard this many times before, so I just smiled and went inside. I came downstairs after having a bath and found him in the front room, cleaning a car part on the carpet! I was so angry! Who cleans an oily car part on a light coloured carpet! He left a big oil stain on the carpet, and I had to go upstairs to calm down. I told him that this was the end of his career as a mechanic, and from now on he would be going to the experts. The next day he went to www.carpartsbradford.co.uk and found the car part that he needed, and they fitting it for him, thank goodness.

My car has been on its last legs for a while, but I thought that it at least had a couple of years of life left before  would have to declare it off the road.. unfortunately I was wrong. Now that I have sold my car for parts to www.carbreakersoldham.co.uk, I realise that my car was more trouble than it was worth! It was always breaking down, and I had spent thousands of pounds doing it up, just for it to break again and again. I had invested in a lot of high quality used parts over the years, so I got a great deal from the car breakers for my car parts. Although it was a bit of a nightmare vehicle, I still loved my old car, and I’m glad that other people will be able to use its parts.

I was really embarrassed the other day when I was taking a friend to the airport.  We got stopped by the police on the way as it was the early hours and I think I may have been driving a little over the speed limit.  Anyway, the police officers pointed out that two of my tyres were almost illegal.  I apologised profusely and said that I would get them sorted out as soon as I could.  As soon as I got home that day I contacted www.tyredealersmacclesfield.co.uk (more…)

Driving on the motorway on my way to the seaside with my girlfriend, I had a feeling that there was something that was just not right with my car. Almost the entire journey down to Brighton, my girlfriend kept saying that my car was making funny squeaking noises which seemed to be getting more and more frequent as the journey went on!

By the time we arrived in Brighton at our hotel, nearly the whole of my exhaust was touching the floor! Typical I thought, seen as we had come to Brighton as a cheaper alternative to going abroad. (more…)
