I have been working at my current job for the last fifteen years and we have only just had some new machinery installed… just to give you the picture our old machinery was ancient when I started working there! My boss is committed to maintenance rather than paying for new machinery all of the time. Being an office manager can be quite a stressful job especially when you have weird and wonderful things that you have to organise. I have become the go to contact for the people in my office even when their problem has nothing to do with their work! After I broke up with my girlfriend I decided to start again and move to a new town. I work at an advertising agency and we have to develop pitches all the time for current and potential clients. My son has wanted to be a tattoo artist for a really long time and although I am proud of how hard he has worked and what he has achieved, I still don’t love tattoos! He is starting his own studio and asked if I could help with the design and I was really touched that he thought of me. I have always been good at problem solving and finding out answers to questions. Ever since my family and friends found out about this, I have been inundated with requests and questions. I have recently been promoted to the role of factory supervisor but my first day was a bot of a disaster. I decided to try and make a good impression with the other workers and arrive early, but unfortunately I manged to drop my keys down the drain outside my house and I wouldn’t be able to get in.
