I love going on holiday and I always try and treat myself when I’m away. I decided to fly down to London to spend time with one of my friends and I hired a car from www.luxurypeoplecarrierscentrallondon.co.uk for the occasion. I love hiring cars when I am away and I was really pleased when I found this professional and affordable company. We went for a lot of day trips with my friend and her children and there was plenty of room in the people carrier for everybody. I had such a fun holiday.

After months of pondering booking to go on holiday, I’ve finally persuaded my husband that it’s the right choice!

We have been trying to decide for ages whether we should go this year after we have moved into our new home and therefore used up a lot of our savings as a result. However, we do have some space and in and amongst all the chaos surrounding the move, we both realised it would be lovely to get away to sunny Spain for a relaxing week abroad!

So, being a typical Monica from Friends, I am very organised! I love being in control and some may even say I am a touch on the bossy side! Although I argue that’s a good thing!

In my typical organised fashion, I looked online yesterday to source an airport taxi at www.airporttaxischelmsford.co.uk. Usually we just wait at the airport until we can get a taxi or have somebody come to collect us but to be honest; I can’t stand the wait when you have been waiting around all day anyway! (more…)

I was planning on getting the train and then the Heathrow Express to the airport that evening. Then my friend rang me to tell me that the local train service had problems and there was going to be a replacement bus service instead.

It sounded like a complete nightmare. It was going to add at least an hour onto my journey, and I was cutting it a bit fine as it was.

So I quickly searched for airport taxis in Marlow where I live. I rang round at least five companies, some of which didn’t even answer the phone. (more…)
