The internet lifeline

Posted on November 1st, 2011 by charlie

The internet is a great place to go these days in your hour of need. I can’t imagine how we managed without it! When my heating broke down during the winter months I had no idea where to turn. We had not long moved to Scotland and I did not know anyone or any local companies. It was very cold and we couldn’t do without heating for very long, especially with my two young children in the house. I quickly did some searches online and found http://www.localplumberglasgow.co.uk. I could see from the website that they were experienced and reliable and it was not long before we were warm and cosy again in our home.

A Wonderful Surprise

Posted on September 28th, 2011 by charlie

My boyfriend and I have been doing up our first house together for the past few months, but it’s been hard to find the time to get all of the renovation work done because we both have full time jobs. Somehow though, we have been able to nearly finish it, but not without the help of some excellent companies that have helped us along the way such as www.garagedoorrepairsglasgow.co.uk. The old garage door at our property wasn’t secure at all, so we needed to get it repaired. The garage door company said that they would be able to help. The door is fixed now and works perfectly.

Moving In

Posted on September 20th, 2011 by charlie

My girlfriend and I have been together for nearly three years now, so we decided to move in together. Neither of us had lived with anyone before, so it was a big step for both if us. We found a great house to move into, but it needed quite a lot of work to be done to it. We wanted to get a new bathroom, so we arranged to get it fitted by www.bathroomfittersdunfermline.co.uk. They have an excellent reputation and we knew that we had made the right choice.

Long Trip

Posted on September 6th, 2011 by charlie

I was really excited for my wife and I to take a mini break and go and stay at www.bedandbreakfastshorehambysea.co.uk. We never really get any time to ourselves because we have small children, so when my sister said that she would be happy to look after the kids for a few days, we jumped at the chance to go away. We decided to go the seaside on the South coast for a relaxing break.

My Girlfriend And I

Posted on September 5th, 2011 by charlie

My girlfriend and I have been together for nearly ten years now, and we have a very supportive and happy relationship. Even though I wouldn’t change a thing about her, I know that she has never been completely happy with her body, and that she has always wanted to get breast implants. Initially I was very against it, but now that I relaise how much it means to her, I have tried to be as supportive as possible. We decided to do a lot of research before any decision was made, so we visited several clinics in the area. The one that we were the most impressed with was www.breastimplantclinicsglasgow.co.uk.

New Flat

Posted on September 2nd, 2011 by charlie

When our son went to university, my husband and I decided that it would be better if we moved into a smaller place. There are loads of flats in Edinburgh that are perfect, so we started looking around, and found somewhere that was just right for us, and in a great location. Once we had packed up our old house, we realised that there was no chance for us to fit everything that we owned in our new flat, so we decided to use some storage space from www.storagecompaniesedinburgh.co.uk for all of the stuff that wouldn't fit.

Once we had some of our things in storage and everything else unpacked, we realised that we were missing some artwork that went with our new surroundings. I have always been a fan of modern art, so I ventured to www.modernartedinburgh.co.uk. They have an amazing range of stunning art on offer, and I immediatley found two pieces that I love, which look perfect in our new flat.

Moving Out

Posted on September 2nd, 2011 by charlie

When I was approaching my 30th birthday and started reflecting on my life, I realised that the fact that I still lived at home with my parents was the part of my life which I really needed to change. I have got so used to having everything done for me, and I really needed to get out on my own. I had just been promoted at work, so there were no excuses anymore. I found a great flat to move into, but it was pretty small, so I had to find somewhere to store my stuff until I had sorted myself out. As I was being independent, and I knew that my parents had their hearts set on turning my old room into a gym, I stored my things at www.storageunitsaberdeen.co.uk.

Within the first week of living in my new flat, I hit a snag when my boiler started acting up. I called on www.domesticplumbersbathgate.co.uk, as they have always offered a reliable service whenever we've had boiler problems at home. I was very grateful to them for their help, and they had the boiler working again in next to no time.

Computer break down!

Posted on August 22nd, 2011 by charlie

I'd been finalising some important documents for the company I work for, when suddenly my computer shut down on me. Thankfully I'd saved my work but the quotes I received from various companies to repair the computer were extortionate. However, a friend referred me to a company she had used which had provided a very decent, affordable service. I contacted www.computerrepairsfalkirk.co.uk and we arranged a day for a consultation.

After receiving expert advice on my computer, the company took it away and returned it to me efficiently. They also cleaned up the system to make it run smoother and advised me on how to maintain it to ensure the problem did not happen again.

I felt really happy with the service I had been offered and could spend my weekend away at www.luxuryaccommodationcartmel.co.uk without worrying about my computer! I would also recommend the beautiful accommodation myself and my partner holidayed at. The food is sublime and the picturesque location is breathtaking!

Family Visit

Posted on July 28th, 2011 by charlie
When I moved to Edinburgh from the South of Wales, I promised myself that I would do all that I could to make sure that I saw my family and friends who were still down south as much as possible. I try and head back home as much as possible, but it’s great that Edinburgh is such a fantastic city to visit, as all of my nearest and dearest love coming to visit me up here. I was so excited when my sister came to stay with my niece and nephew, and I spent a while looking for exciting things that we could do. My nephew is 12 and my niece is 9, so I had to think of something that they would both enjoy. I looked online and found www.ghosttoursedinburgh.co.uk and decided to book a tour of the city with them. The tour was fantastic! It was just scary enough to spook the kids, but not too scary that they couldn’t sleep at night. We had a really enjoyable weekend, and I was sad that they had to go, but I know that I’ll be back down to Wales and seeing them all very soon.

Rewarding My Hard Work

Posted on May 23rd, 2011 by charlie

I have been working really hard over the past year, so when my accountant at www.taxreturnscambridge.co.uk said that I had made record profits, I was very pleased and decided to reward myself. I am a very keen golfer, but my work has meant that I can’t get out onto the golf course as much as I would like. I thought that the best break that I could arrange following my profits, would be to go to some of the world’s finest golf courses in St Andrews. I have always wanted to go there, and I’ve been told by many of my friends that they beautiful courses are definitely worth the trip.
