Parking in Oxford

Oxford City Council has agreed to introduce new charges in the City Council-run car parks, a 15 per cent increase from 1st January 2009.
I already hear enough complaints about parking in Oxford - and from those who have abandoned the City centre to join the Reading revellers instead – so this is yet again another nail in the coffin.
Hardly encouraging tourists and shoppers is it?
