My son James has been into cars since he was a tiny boy. He never cared for teddy bears, instead preferring to play with his toy cars on the big town mat that we bought him. When he got a bit older he was fascinated with taking his bigger toy cars apart to see exactly how they worked. He’d spend hours tinkering with them and looking at all the mechanics. As a teenager, he would beg his dad to let him look inside the engine of his car.

When it got around to the time when James had to look for work experience we knew he would want to go to a garage, so we asked around to see where he could go.
