Friday, November 19th, 2010I had recently been taken on by a hardware store in Carlisle. It had been running for a number of years, but the boss said he wanted someone new to inject some life and enthusiasm into the place. I certainly wasn’t lacking in either of those!
His words rang in my ears when I fell across a great deal to buy 500 sledges in March. It was an offer I couldn’t refuse, and as a harsh winter had been predicted I thought the shop would clean up when the snow fell.
