For my son’s 21st birthday, we decided to have a really big party. He was ill over the past year, so it is not only a celebration of his birthday, but of his recovery. He is a very modest lad, so he said he would be happy with a small party, but my husband and I really wanted to give him a night to remember. My son decided on a Las Vegas theme, and we went to a fantastic prop shop so we could decorate the marquee and make it look really special. For the food, we wanted a glamorous sit down meal then a chocolate fountain and bite size desserts at the party. When we needed more space in our home, we were all set to get a new brick extension, until one of my friends suggested that we get a conservatory instead.
