When my sister first got engaged and said that she would be getting married in 2011, it sounded like an age away, but now the wedding date is almost here, and everyone if getting quite nervous and stressed! We’ve all been given jobs to do and things to organise. I think that I was given the short straw when I was given the big job of finding a florist, but I have been surprised by how much I have enjoyed meeting different florists and talking through the designs that my sister wants. I know it sounds a bit weird, but I’m a bit of a kitchen showroom junkie. I look looking around in them and imagining the kind of kitchen that I would have in my dream home. I was really close to my Great Auntie, and I was devastated when she died. I met the man of my dreams when I was teaching English in a school in Kazakhstan. He was a maths teacher at the school, and he was everything I’d been looking for. After six months out there my contract ran out, and I had to come home. I asked Musa to come back with me to live and he said yes.

When I was a bit younger I got caught up with a bad crowd of lads. You know what it’s like, peer pressure makes you do silly things sometimes.
