Nice and snug for winter

Posted on February 8th, 2012 by charlie

It's great: I have just had new double glazing fitted in my flat and it's made it so cosy and snug.  It will help me save money this winter, especially in the current cold spell.

I used the company www.doubleglazingwindowsmiltonkeynes.co.uk and they have been amazing.  I was expecting loads of mess but this hasn't been the case at all.

I have just recently moved into the flat after divorcing my husband.  It has been a traumatic time but luckily there are no children involved.  I was also fortunate to have a really good divorce solicitor, www.divorcesolicitorsuxbridge.co.uk, to help me.  These are family solicitors with a really good reputation.  They have helped a few of my friends and were a real godsend to me.

I managed to negotiate a fairly good deal for myself and this has meant I don't have to worry about money in the immediate future.  I have a nice new flat and some money in the bank, so I am not feeling too bad about the future now.

I have even started going out again, which took me a while.  I am slowly getting used to life on my own, but I think it will be a while before I get into another relationship.  I am going to spend some time on my own and enjoy it.

Standing On My Own Feet

Posted on June 6th, 2011 by charlie

After a very bad break-up with my now ex-boyfriend, I needed to find somewhere to live really quickly. I didn’t want my family to worry, so I decided to get a cash loan to pay for teh deposit on a new flat. I was getting paid the week after, and I needed to move in as soon as possible, so the loan was exactly what I needed. I was able to move in to the flat straight away and start rebuilding my life. The loan that I got was www.cashloansmiltonkeynes.co.uk, and I was so impressed by how friendly and helpful all of the staff at the company were. I explained my situation and they were more than happy to help me out. It’s great to know that if I get myself in an emergency situation like this one, I will be able to get the money that I need for a short period of time.

Sister’s Wedding

Posted on June 6th, 2011 by charlie

When my sister first got engaged and said that she would be getting married in 2011, it sounded like an age away, but now the wedding date is almost here, and everyone if getting quite nervous and stressed! We’ve all been given jobs to do and things to organise. I think that I was given the short straw when I was given the big job of finding a florist, but I have been surprised by how much I have enjoyed meeting different florists and talking through the designs that my sister wants. The best florist that I found was www.weddingfloristsoldbury.co.uk, who really understood the flowers and theme that my sister wanted. My sister met with them too and was very impressed that I had found such a professional and creative company to work with.

Kitchen Showroom in Milton Keynes

Posted on March 11th, 2011 by charlie

I know it sounds a bit weird, but I’m a bit of a kitchen showroom junkie. I look looking around in them and imagining the kind of kitchen that I would have in my dream home. I was really close to my Great Auntie, and I was devastated when she died. It cheered me up considerably though when her lawyer gave me an envelope that said ‘For Your Kitchen’, which was full of a great deal of money. I felt so touched that she knew me so well, and I went to my favourite kitchen showroom; www.kitchenshowroommiltonkeynes.co.uk.

Immigration solicitors in Milton Keynes

Posted on January 28th, 2011 by sam

I met the man of my dreams when I was teaching English in a school in Kazakhstan. He was a maths teacher at the school, and he was everything I’d been looking for. After six months out there my contract ran out, and I had to come home. I asked Musa to come back with me to live and he said yes.

He got a visa to come over for six months, and it flew by. When the visa was due to run out we both wanted to get it extended. We contacted www.immigrationsolicitorsmiltonkeynes.co.uk and asked them for their help in getting it extended. Read the rest of this entry »

Employment law solicitors in Milton Keynes

Posted on January 25th, 2011 by sam

I was fired earlier on this year. I’d been working for the firm for seven years and I’d never had any problems – I’d only recently been promoted – and one day my boss came over to me, told me my services were no longer required and asked me to have my desk cleared by the end of the day.

I had no idea what was going on, until I heard from a friend who still worked there that the boss had heard a rumour that a woman of my description had been seen in the red light district of town. I was in complete shock. It was totally unfair to fire me on the basis that a similar looking woman was a prostitute! I contacted www.employmentlawsolicitorsmiltonkeynes.co.uk as soon as I possibly could. Read the rest of this entry »

Criminal solicitors in Milton Keynes

Posted on November 29th, 2010 by sam

When I was a bit younger I got caught up with a bad crowd of lads. You know what it’s like, peer pressure makes you do silly things sometimes. One of those times came when we were messing around down at some flats in Milton Keynes. We’d all had a bit to drink and didn’t really know what we were doing when we broke down doors and broke windows. One of the lads even set fire to a woman’s car.

I felt terrible once I sobered up, and I went home to my parents and told them what had happened because I felt so guilty and responsible. I didn’t want to get my mates in trouble, but I knew I had to tell the police what had happened and what we had done. Before that, however, I contacted www.criminalsolicitorsmiltonkeynes.co.uk to ask for their advice. Read the rest of this entry »

Recruitment agencies in Milton Keynes

Posted on November 25th, 2010 by sam

I don’t want this to sound like bragging as I know a lot of companies have had to let people go recently, but my sales company had to expand a while ago

There are a lot of people out there looking for work at the moment, and as recruitment director I wanted to make sure I get the right people for the jobs. I needed someone to help me with the selection process so I got in touch with www.recruitmentagenciesmiltonkeynes.co.uk to see if I would be able to employ their services. Properties to let in Milton Keynes

Posted on November 15th, 2010 by sam

I had been living in a flat in London for several years, but had taken a wage cut because of the recession and I just couldn’t afford it anymore. I could either downsize, or move away from the city and into a bigger place. I decided the latter sounded more appealing.

I had friends who lived and worked in Milton Keynes, so it seemed a fairly good option to move up that way. I checked out www.propertiestoletmiltonkeynes.co.uk and was impressed at the range and price of properties compared to the capital. Read the rest of this entry »

Tax Advice in Milton Keynes

Posted on October 19th, 2010 by Chris

I really hate carrying out the company accounts. It could never be said that I have a good grasp of maths, so I have always tried to forget that time when the tax returns have to be done So I decided to ask Tax Advice Milton Keynes to come to my aid. The company’s tax advice and tax planning services means I no longer have to stress about tax returns. Read the rest of this entry »
