I was thinking of putting my flat on the market, but the only room that I hadn’t finished off was the kitchen. I know kitchens really help to sell a property, so I wanted it to look really high quality.

A friend of mine suggested using travertine tiles as flooring. She said they made a room look very expensive. They weren’t cheap to buy, but the kitchen was only small.
