I was so excited when my best friend announced her wedding, especially when she asked me to be her matron of honour.I enjoyed all the preparations and the wedding itself almost as much as my own wedding – because this time I did not have all the nerves! It was great to be able to help my friend choose her wedding dress. She found a fantastic shop in Didsbury, where she lives. She found a dress that was perfect; it was almost as if it had been completely designed just for her. It was like a scene from a film when she tried it on for the first time and we both started crying! The thoroughly enjoyable experience of finding that wonderful wedding gown will stay with my friend forever.

My friend decided she didn’t want an expensive weekend away for her hen night – we are all trying to save money these days. We had a lovely girly weekend at my house in Norwich instead and it was much more fun and personal.
