I was so excited when my best friend announced her wedding, especially when she asked me to be her matron of honour.I enjoyed all the preparations and the wedding itself almost as much as my own wedding – because this time I did not have all the nerves! It was great to be able to help my friend choose her wedding dress. She found a fantastic shop in Didsbury, where she lives. The selection of gowns at http://www.bridalshopsdidsbury.co.uk was amazing.
She found a dress that was perfect; it was almost as if it had been completely designed just for her. It was like a scene from a film when she tried it on for the first time and we both started crying! The thoroughly enjoyable experience of finding that wonderful wedding gown will stay with my friend forever.
My friend decided she didn’t want an expensive weekend away for her hen night – we are all trying to save money these days. We had a lovely girly weekend at my house in Norwich instead and it was much more fun and personal.

After experiencing excellent chiropody treatment at www.chiropodistservicesdudley.co.uk, I was all set to journey off to Oldham near Manchester for my cousin’s wedding. However, when I arrived back at my car I noticed a very prominent scratch down the right hand side of the body and a smashed headlight.
Due to the rush I was in to get to my cousin’s wedding in Oldham, I decided I would drive to Oldham and call somebody out there the next day to attend to my vehicle. My aunt suggested a firm she had recently used to service her car – www.vehiclerepairsoldham.co.uk. They arranged to come the day after the wedding.
The treatment my car received was excellent! The company had done a fantastic job on the paintwork and the headlight was restored as if nothing had ever happened. The price was also very affordable for the quality of the work done. I would definitely recommend the company in the future to others and may even journey up to Oldham in the future with any vehicle trouble, just for the assurance of a great service.

A few months ago I got married to my lovely husband after months of planning. I spent ages searching for the perfect caterers to provide my food for the big day as I wanted a sophisticated and high quality menu to be proud of. Eventually I heard about www.outdoorcateringmanchester.co.uk in which they matched my every requirement and appeared friendly and flexible to meet my needs. I was attracted to them especially as they focused on providing fresh food which they made themselves, this was important to me as I like to know where my food comes from and see that it is fresh and not out of a packet.
It was a great weight off my mind as there is so much to plan for a wedding and it gets very stressful which is not how you want to feel on your wedding day. By Request were very reassuring and helpful in making sure that the food was best suited to me and my guests. On the day everything went to plan and even my fussy vegan cousin enjoyed the food which was suprising I was very pleased with my menu and would definitely hire them again for my next party which will probably be my new babies christening.

I am so excited as I am going on holiday to Spain. It has been a long winter here in the UK and I am really ready for some warm sunshine and some blue skies. I am flying from Manchester Airport and have been looking for a company to transport me to and from the airport. I have used the services of www.airporttransfersbirchwood.co.uk before and have always been delighted with their service. Read the rest of this entry »

Last year in school, someone pulled my son’s chair away when he was going to sit down, so he landed very painfully on his lower back. At first we thought that the pain would just go away over time, but unfortunately it didn’t. The hard chairs at school weren’t helping either. Our doctor and I didn’t think that it would be a good idea to put him on painkillers, so we decided to explore the other options that could be available. My friend at work told me that she suffered from lower back pain but had started going to an osteopathy clinic and it had really made a difference for her. She gave me the details for an Osteopath in Manchester so we booked an appointment to see them. Read the rest of this entry »

When I found out that I was pregnant I was so excited but also quite scared. I didn’t realise how little I knew about pregnancy until I started reading all of the pregnancy books that my sister gave me. I was lucky that I didn’t really suffer with morning sickness or nausea, but I did suffer with back pain. My sister had experienced it too when she was pregnant with my nephew, but she had struggled on through it. I work at an office so the pain was enhanced by the office chairs that we have. My office was sympathetic and tried to find a better chair for me, but nothing seemed to work. The back pain was unbearable, and I knew that I had to do something about it. A woman I know in my prenatal class told me about Freedom Back Clinics in Manchester, so I looked them up online. Read the rest of this entry »

My boyfriend and I had only been living together for about six months when he was offered the chance of a lifetime to go for a job in Dubai. I knew it was what he had always wanted, but I didn’t want to be without him for months at a time. So, when he asked me to go with him, I jumped at the chance.
We’d both had our own furniture since before we moved in together, so some of my stuff was already stored at my parents. Their house, however, is not the Tardis, and therefore, we needed to find somewhere for the rest of our stuff, after all, there was no point in taking it with us. A quick Google later www.storagecompaniesmanchester.co.uk came to the rescue! Read the rest of this entry »

I heard someone say once that moving house was one of the most stressful things you could do. Well, that and commuting into a city. Having done both of those things now, I can happily say that the former is much, much worse!
When my husband and I decided to move from Norwich to Hulme, near Stockport, we thought it would be simple. We both had jobs up there; my husband’s family were from up that way. But no, it was a nightmare. It would have been even worse had we not had the help of www.removalcompaniesstockport.co.uk. Read the rest of this entry »

My wife had come from factory-running stock. Her family had run mills back in the olden days, and until the 1960s they had run a clothing factory in Manchester. The factory closed when she was little, but she had fond memories of going there with her dad when she was small and seeing all the machinists working away.
The factory was due to be knocked down and the land sold for housing later this year, and she was devestated at the idea it would no longer be there. There was nothing I could do to halt the demolition, but I decided I wanted to get her a lasting memory of the place. I called www.aerialphotographersmanchester.co.uk to engage their services. I have finally taken the plunge and have bought my own house. The whole subject of properties and mortgages is very foreign and intimidating to me, so I went to www.conveyancingsolicitorsstockport.co.uk for help. They provide great services for anyone who is buying or selling a home. I went to them for help with my mortgage arrangements and they were fantastic. I don’t know anything about mortgages, so I was really pleased that they explained everything to me really clearly, so I didn’t feel like I was bombarded by jargon that I didn’t understand. I now have my mortgage and I am officially a home owner. I feel very grown up! Read the rest of this entry »
