Domestic Removals in Luton

Posted on February 18th, 2011 by charlie

My daughter is obviously the apple of my eye and all of that, but she is so disorganised! I can’t even attempt to count how many time I have had to arrange things for her. It wouldn’t be so bad, apart from the fact that she is 32! When she told me that she was planning to move house I told her that I was too busy to help, and she would have to find a company to help with the removals. Of course she said that she already had everything planned, but she of course didn’t. Two days before the move I received a frantic call from her telling me that she hadn’t sorted anything and she didn’t know what to do. I had to come to the rescue, so I called on the ever reliable www.domesticremovalsluton.co.uk for help.

World-first holograms join Luton airport staff

Posted on February 17th, 2011 by charlie

The security in Luton Airport has taken a big technological step forward, with two new holograms joining the staff. The holograms will work providing information for passengers regarding the security in Luton Airport.

‘Holly’ and ‘Graham’ are two of the world’s first holographic announcers. Their job will be to communicate important security messages to passengers as they walk from check-in to the departure lounge. The holograms were created for the airport by Tensator. Holly and Graham will be trialed within the Central Search Area, where hand luggage is checked and passengers are searched. The two new members of staff will tell passengers about the preparations they need to make before the security search.

Don’t give car thieves a warm welcome

Posted on February 17th, 2011 by charlie

The Bedfordshire Police have released some tips of how to increase your car security in Luton. Their first tip is to not leave your cars unattended while your windscreen defrosts.

Many drivers warm up their vehicles and clear their windscreen by turning their heaters on before they leave so they can avoid some of the freezing conditions. An unattended car with the keys in is a perfect opportunity for thieves.

Professional Plumbing in Dunstable

Posted on February 15th, 2011 by charlie

The weather this winter has just been horrendous! It has made me realise that my old house needs some renovation. The pipes froze constantly and I have spent most evenings lying under several layers of clothing and blankets. I had to give in and see what could be done to make my pipes work and help my plumbing system. I called www.professionalplumbingdunstable.co.uk and asked how they could help. They said that they would come round the next day and have a look at the problem.

Hair and Beauty in Luton

Posted on February 10th, 2011 by sam

I broke up with my boyfriend of five years last month and it was like a breath of fresh air. I should have done it years ago really, as I was getting very downtrodden and depressed.

After a week or two of wondering what I was going to do with my life I decided I wanted to spruce myself up and get out into the world again. My first stop was www.beautysalonsluton.co.uk, where I got a facial, a manicure and a pedicure to get myself ready to face people once again. Read the rest of this entry »

Letting agents in Luton

Posted on February 7th, 2011 by sam

A few years ago, when the property market was at it’s height, I decided to invest in a couple of buy to let places around Luton and Dunstable. It seemed like a sound investment at the time, but then the credit crunch hit and I had problems finding people to rent.

It seemed to be taking me ages to get any tenants, so I decided that I would turn to an agency, to see if their skills would fare any better than my own. I contacted http://www.lettingagencyluton.co.uk/ in the hope they would be able to help. Read the rest of this entry »

Financial services in Luton

Posted on February 2nd, 2011 by sam

My granddad died a couple of years ago and left me quite a large chunk of money in his will. I wanted to be wise and invest the money well, instead of splurging it, but had no idea what would be the best thing to invest in, or even how to go about investing.

I contacted www.financialservicesluton.co.uk to see if they would be able to help me out with my money. Read the rest of this entry »

Motorcycle servicing in Luton

Posted on January 27th, 2011 by charlie

After I took my motorcycle test a couple of months ago, I thought I was invincible. I normally go out on my motorbike with my husband on his as well. When he went away last month, I decided that I would go out for a ride on my own. Big mistake. I didn’t realise how reassured I felt with my husband riding his bike with me, until he wasn’t there. I came to a crossroads too fast and had to let go of my bike and roll off. Thankfully no one was hurt and the bike hit a bollard and stopped. I was really lucky to walk away from the accident unscaved, but my bike, however did suffer some damage. I needed to get the bike repaired as soon as possible, so that my husband and I would be able to go for a motorcycle trip that we had booked. He has always raved about www.motorcycleservicingluton.co.uk, so I went to them for help.

Chartered accountants in Luton

Posted on January 26th, 2011 by charlie

Why should you do you accounts yourself when there are people out there who make a living from doing other people’s accounts? That’s my philosophy anyway. I have always been able to accept that I’m not that good at anything involving numbers, so I have absolutely no problem with handing my accounts over to someone else to work on. I have been working with www.charteredaccountantsluton.co.uk for three years now, and they have always offered the excellent service that my company and I need.

Part P Electricians in Luton

Posted on January 26th, 2011 by charlie

It can be very difficult to find electricians who have the experience and expertise that you need. I have a bit of a fear of the electrics going wrong ever since my sister electrocuted herself when she was using the toaster a couple of years ago. It was completely her own fault as she was trying to get a piece of toast out using a metal knife. She wasn’t badly hurt at all, but it still freaked me out nonetheless. I had a reliable electrician that I used back in my hometown, but since moving to Luton I knew that I needed to find a reliable electrical company who I could trust. I asked one of my colleagues at work if he knew anyone, and he suggested www.partpelectriciansluton.co.uk.
