Flat Roofing in Luton

I know a lot of people will probably argue that in terms of roofing alternatives, flat roofing is not the best choice, but for me it seems a reasonable option.

The other day my friend was asking me why I would want a flat roof on my house when we get so much rain throughout the year here in the UK. I must admit, I can see her point! However, flat roofing is a slightly cheaper option for me and I actually quite like the look of them when their finished.

I always seem to get lumbered with the rubbish jobs in my household. I’m sure there are many other people in my position too but it really is frustrating when you have to keep up with the fiddly jobs like roofing.

It wasn’t until the recent bad weather that I realised I seriously needed to look at roofing specialists in Dunstable.

This year we seem to have had more rain than I ever previously remember. It’s just poured it down for months. One particular day though was really bad and I came home from work to find the roof had leaked loads of water all over the bathroom floor. The worst thing was though that I didn’t know how to stop it and just had to put a bucket there to save the bathroom carpet as a temporary measure! Real old school method but it did the trick! (more…)
