When I was little I used to try and help with the gardening, but my mum despaired when I would pull out flowers instead of weeds, and there was one notable occasion when I somehow pulled out a huge established bush, roots and all. I wasn’t allowed back in the garden after that one.
I just don’t think I’m suited to the Good Life, I’m much more of a modern girl.
