Why should you do you accounts yourself when there are people out there who make a living from doing other people’s accounts? That’s my philosophy anyway. I have always been able to accept that I’m not that good at anything involving numbers, so I have absolutely no problem with handing my accounts over to someone else to work on. I’d left my old job to take some time out and go travelling. So when I came home, I decided to try going freelance for a while and give myself a rest from corporate politics.

It was really nice being my own boss, and I was offered quite a lot of work almost immediately – mostly from my old contacts.

Running a small business, I find myself increasingly struggling for time to do anything. There always seems to be something that comes up which is a bigger priority than the last which needs doing as soon as possible.

As a result of this, I am looking for a company which specialises in online accounting in Dunstable. I know your probably thinking that this is an easy route out but trust me, with as little time as I have, you would be suggesting the same!

I have heard many reports about online accounting in Dunstable which say that the process is well worth doing. Apparently online accounting is quicker than doing the accounts manually but its also meant to be easy to use, which would be ideal for me too! I am not the most computer driven person going but at some point I’m going to have to learn so what better time than the present!

The current way we are running our accounts process is long winded, error prone and to be blunt, a nightmare! By working through our account online, the business would be in a much better place to manage the financial side of the company in a way which is much more user friendly.

Saying that, I’m probably not the best person to be giving advice about online accounting so maybe I’ll leave it to the professionals to explain!

Despite the recession, I haven’t had too bad a year. Well, when I say I haven’t had a bad year I mean I have managed to survive it and trade through.
