Dream Restaurant

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

It has always been my dream to open my own restaurant. I am from an Italian family, and I have been brought up making classic Italian dishes that are really popular and delicious. I have worked in other people's kitchen for years, but I am overjoyed that I finally get to run a restaurant my way. I have been fortunate enough to receive some financial backing from a friend of mine, and he told me to get the best kitchen possible. I knew all of the appliances that I wanted, so I went down to www.appliancesalesenfield.co.uk and got all of the state of teh art equipment that wanted. They have a fantastic range of appliances, and I was really impressed by the affordable prices of the kitchen equipment.

The kitchen itself was harder to organise. I have always known what I wanted my kitchen to be like, but for some reason I found it hard to tell people what I wanted. My life was made so much easier when I found www.tradekitchensislington.co.uk. They have a great design service that really helps you visualise what you want. They were so helpful and I'm glad that I found them.

The kitchen is taking shape now, and it looks exactly how I imagined. I can't wait to get started creating delicious food in my new kitchen! I can't believe that my dream is finally becoming real, I have to keep pinching myself. The opening is scheduled in a couple of months, and I completely can't wait.

Local roofers in Hampstead

Sat inside the house watching TV and listening to the rain battering the roof, I was content. Until, that is, I heard several banging noises in succession. It sounded like something was falling off the roof.

I donned my raincoat and wellies and went outside, only to find about ten roof tiles on the front garden. I contacted www.localroofershampstead.co.uk to ask them to come out the next day (more…)

Model makers in Wimbledon

Monday, January 24th, 2011

When my dad retired he decided he was going to get into model making. He’d always had an interest in it, but had never had the time to do anything about it. Now he had all the time in the world, and Mum was happy as it would keep him out of trouble while she was at work.

He had this pie-in-the-sky idea that he would make a scale model of the village he lived in, complete with all the well-known characters of the village. It was a fairly ambitious first project, but each to their own I suppose! He went to www.modelmakerswimbledon.co.uk to get hold of the things he needed. (more…)

Vermin control in London

Friday, November 12th, 2010

Remember how the woman in Tom and Jerry always used to jump on the chair whenever she saw the mischievous mouse scuttle along the floor? That was exactly what I did when I thought I saw the tip of a mouse tail disappear underneath my kitchen cabinet.

After calling my dad and doing my best impression of a jibbering wreck he told me to call http://www.vermincontrolcentrallondon.co.uk/ to see if they could come out and help me.
